Chaotic Acts of Theatre
Fill it with fury...and ecstasy...and revolution

About Us

At CAT, we believe that it's more important that people see the performance than make a buck. For that reason, our performances are underwritten by a producer and are free to the public.  However, we never turn down Karmic Contributions if you like what you see.

CAT originally began as Théâtre sans Limites and performed for the library programs: The Big Read and Read Me.  They continued performing for the library audiences working their way through classics like To Kill a Mockingbird (Feb.-Mar. '10) and The Best of Twain (Feb. '12). They also offered specialized training in storytelling (June '12) and then performed a night of storytelling to library patrons in September of 2012.

Barnes & Noble contacted them to be involved in the inaugural Star Wars Reads Days in October 2012.   Théâtre sans Limites contracted local playwright, Jon Waters, to condense the six Star Wars movies into a 30 minute, 2-man play.  It played to packed houses who were very appreciative.  Because of the popularity of that productions, Mr. Waters was again contracted to do the same treatment to Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.  LOTR played to a packed house at the Ada Community Library in August 6, 2013.

Meanwhile, the Harry Potter will premiere with its stage brothers (Star Wars & LOTR) in a Night of Parody, Sept. 27 & 28, 2013- CAT's first official performance.  It will also perform at the Ada Community Library on Oct. 24, 2013.   Star Wars will once again perform for Star Wars Reads Day on Oct. 5, 2013.
